Executive Members
Presidents
Matthew Biehl, Co-President
Matthew Biehl is in his fourth year at Queen’s, pursuing a BSCH in Biology with a minor in English. This is his third year being involved with the Vogue Charity Fashion Show, having started in his second year as an Intern for the Independent Design Executive, and then acting as Co-Creative Director alongside Melin Peng in last year’s production. This year he is excited to be a part of the Vogue family again, sharing the Presidency with Melin Peng. Working alongside the new exec team, cast, and crew, he hopes that this year will be the most creative and entertaining Vogue experience to date, and that the show will continue the tradition of raising the bar higher for the amount of money raised for the charity. Outside of Vogue, Matthew is involved with the Biology DSC, the SCB: Queen’s Chapter, QMP, Walkhome, and the Queen’s School of English.

Charity Liasons
Heather Love, Co-Charity Liason
Heather is a fourth year English and Politics medial student. This is her second year involved with Vogue: last year she participated as one of the Charity Interns, and this year she is a Co-Charity Liaison with Christina Nestor. Together, the Charity Liaison Execs are thrilled to be able to announce that Vogue will be donating the proceeds of the show to two elementary schools in the Kingston community: Frontenac Public School and Holy Family Catholic School. These schools have strong histories with Queen’s University through hosting mentorship and big buddy programs. The proceeds donated to the schools will go towards developing their literacy resources: libraries, books and literacy-based activities. This focus on literacy is reinforced through Vogue Charity Fashion Show’s 2009-2010 motto: Fashion, Fantasy and Fiction. Heather is thrilled to be a part of a show that has the potential to make such a lasting positive impact on the Kingston Community.
Christina Nestor, Co-Charity Liason
Christina is a third year psychology student, and is one of the Co-Charity Liaison for this year’s Vogue Charity Fashion Show. Christina and her co-liaison, Heather, have helped choose the charity of choice. This year Vogue will be donating its profits to the literacy program of two under -funded schools in the Kingston community. As Charity liaisons, they will be responsible for remaining in contact with the schools, informing the schools with important updates, looking for new ways to integrate the charity into the show, and running the book drive. This is Christina’s second year involved with Vogue, last year she was a model in the show, and this year she is very excited to be apart of the exec!
Clothing Managers
Alex Mauro, Co-Clothing Manager
Hi! I’m Alex, this year my position with Vogue is Co-Clothing Manager along with Amanda Sadler. This is my second year with Vogue, last year I was part of Clothing Management team and I also showcased my non-existent dance talents in the Ipod dance scene. You may have noticed me in the back, about two counts behind everyone else! I’m a linguistics student, but I’d rather be shopping, which makes me perfect for this position. As Clothing Managers, we choose the clothing seen on the dancers during the show. Working with the cast and crew of Vogue has been an amazing experience so far. In my last year at Queen’s I hope to make this year’s show FANTASTIC!
Amanda Sadler, Co-Clothing Manager
This is Amanda’s second year involved with Vogue. In her first year at Queen’s she worked as a Clothing Management Intern and danced in the show as well. This year, she is excited to hold the position of Co-Clothing Manager along with Alex Mauro. Amanda has experienced many aspects of the fashion world so far, and has enjoyed everything from performing, to working with the models and dancers backstage, to working with the gorgeous clothes themselves. She hopes to continue to be involved with Vogue throughout her years at Queen’s, and hopes that this year’s show will inspire all to belieVe!
Corporate Sponsorship
Stephanie Yu, Head of Corporate Sponsorship
Stephanie Yu is a second-year Psychology student from Hong Kong. She had never lived in Canada before until her first year at Queen’s, and still occasionally suffers from embarrassing moments of cultural unfamiliarity (such as, accusing the salesperson of ripping her off because she forgot the existence of sales tax in Canada). In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys having a good laugh with good friends. After Queen’s, she wishes to go back to Hong Kong to continue her studies, and pursue a career as a clinical psychologist in the future. With this being her second year in Vogue, Stephanie looks forward to finding more businesses and companies to come on board with us in supporting this great cause.
Director of Photography
Jess Lancaster, Director of Photography
Born in Toronto, and raised in Hong Kong (and too many other places to list), Jess has come to Queen’s with a unique and global fashion perspective. She is a third year sociology student, and this is her second year being a part of Vogue. Last year, Jess was one of the photographers for the show who helped produce the promotional material for the show. Her eye for fashion as an art form has developed over the years thanks to her numerous traveling and living abroad experiences, and she is thrilled to be able to apply her skills and knowledge to the best creative outlet at Queen’s – Vogue! Her hobbies include fashion, photography, traveling, and philanthropy – all of which make her fit right into the Vogue family!
Director of Videography
Kailey Meyers, Director of Videography
Kailey Meyers is a third year Commerce student, majoring in Marketing and International Business. Originally from Toronto, Kailey has moved nine times internationally between England, Canada, the USA and Barbados. She has studied and created art her whole life, and enjoys painting and studying modern art. She worked in the fashion industry in London, England, including London Fashion Week and an internship at Harper’s Bazaar. She modelled in Vogue in her first year at Queen’s, and is absolutely thrilled to bring an artsy eye as Director of Videography! Everyone watch out… Vogue is going to soar to a whole new level this year.
Choreography
Taila Anandasagar, Head of Choreogrpahy
Taila Anandasagar is an innovative dancer and choreographer who is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology and Sociology at Queen’s University. She has been dancing since the age of three and like many others in VOGUE, shares a strong passion for fashion, dance, and the arts. She has been a part of VOGUE for the past three years and feels as though it has become an integral part of her Queen’s life. She is proud to be a part of this student run club that always puts on an amazing, thought-provoking, and very professional show, year after year. The utter dedication that is shown from the cast, the crew, and especially other executive members does not go unnoticed and is so necessary for a show of this scale to be successful. She has always felt lucky to be able to work with so many talented individuals who all want to do their part to raise money for a worthy cause. She is extremely excited to have the opportunity to leave her mark on this years show as Head Choreographer, doing what she enjoys doing most – dancing.

She first joined Vogue last year as a Clothing Manager Intern. Her love for Vogue has grown so much that she plans to return to Queen’s to watch every year! Naomi plans to pursue a career in fashion after graduating from Queen’s, most likely in event production.
Nicole Emmet, Co-Head of Independent Design
I’m a third year economics student from Ottawa and this is my second year involved in VOGUE. I started out last year as one of the independent designers, and fell in love with the VOGUE family! Both the debut of my collection and the support and love between the entire cast led me to apply for an executive position. As co-head of independent design with Naomi, we oversee the chosen independent designers and work with them to help their ideas translate to the runway. We organize fittings, work with the creative direction exec’s to plan photo shoots in addition to facilitating communication between the designers, models and executive team. We also bring in people involved in the fashion industry to judge the independent designers at the show, and organize a grand prize for the winning student designer.
